Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

OT Protocol ("OT Protocol," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using otprotocol.com or contacting us, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

  • Information you submit through our forms: name, phone number, email, business name, trade, service area, and website.
  • Information from calls or messages you send us.
  • Basic, non-identifying usage analytics and standard cookies to understand site traffic.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your request, provide a quote, and follow up about our services.
  • To contact you by phone or email about your inquiry.
  • To operate and improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information.

Calls and texts

Submitting your phone number is not, by itself, consent to receive text messages, and we do not text you based on a submitted phone number alone. By submitting your phone number you consent to be contacted by OT Protocol by phone about your inquiry. Text messages are sent only if you separately and explicitly check one or both SMS opt-in checkboxes on our forms (one for account/service texts, one for marketing texts) - each is optional, off by default, and covers only the type of message it describes. Messages are recurring; frequency varies, up to about 4 messages per month per opt-in. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling at any time.

Cookies and tracking technologies (added 2026-07-27)

otprotocol.com uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic (for example, page views and referrers). This tool does not use tracking cookies and does not build a profile of you across other websites. Our internal, login-protected staff tools (not part of the public marketing site) use a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember basic interface preferences, such as whether a sidebar panel is open. We do not use third-party advertising or marketing pixels (for example, a Meta/Facebook Pixel or Google Ads remarketing tag) on this site as of the date above. If that changes, we will update this policy.

Service providers

We use trusted third-party providers to run our business, including website hosting, lead notifications, scheduling, payment processing, and AI call handling. They process your information only to provide their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

SMS consent and sharing (added 2026-07-27)

Your SMS opt-in consent and phone number are not shared, sold, or rented to any third party or affiliate for their own marketing purposes. We share your phone number only with our SMS delivery providers (for example, our CRM/messaging platform and its underlying carrier infrastructure), and only so they can send messages on our behalf, under our instructions. This applies separately to both the transactional (account/service) and marketing SMS opt-ins described above.

SMS opt-in details (added 2026-07-27)

You opt in to SMS messages only through the consent checkboxes on our website forms, described above, never automatically or by submitting a phone number alone. When you check a box, we record: which checkbox(es) you checked (transactional and/or marketing), the date and time (UTC) of your opt-in, the IP address the opt-in was submitted from, and the exact consent text that was displayed to you at that time. We keep this record as proof of your opt-in and to honor your preferences.

Data retention and security

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide our services or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data security safeguards (added 2026-07-27)

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypting data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between your browser and our systems, and storing information in access-controlled databases. As noted above, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by reaching out using the details below.

Your SMS and communication choices (added 2026-07-27)

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text (you'll receive a one-time confirmation), or by contacting us at hello@otprotocol.com or (951) 458-6293. Any marketing emails we send include an unsubscribe link. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, email hello@otprotocol.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates take effect when posted here.
